Plan & PRepare

It can be hard swallowing reality sometimes.  There’s always room for improvement so when you realize you’re not where you want to be at the moment, it can be a little discouraging sometimes.

As a publicist, it is our job to alert the media of the relevant problems and show them the solution with your client’s product/services.  By understand what is “newsworthy” we can understand common problems among our target audience and present them with an answer to help solve our problems.  Consider the same notion for your own personal/professional life.

Right now you may not be where you are but understand where you’re currently at in your personal/professional life.  What we’re constantly forgetting to realize (I know I’m guilty) is that nine times out of ten, you’re already blessed where you’re at because face it…it can always be worse.

Now that you’ve assessed where you are and you know where you want to be, you can draw out a basic plan to put in motion to achieve all the goals to get you where you desire.  For me the journey is what I’m looking forward to but you must “PRepare” yourself for all possible outcomes.  This includes your planning successfully working or more than likely not taking you where you expected to be once you’ve done all you could.  If a reporter never responded to your emails or calls, then as my mentor would say in true Anje fashion, keep it moving.  If a job rejected you, consider calling the person that contacted you about the rejection to understand in further detail why you were not chosen if it was not provided.  If you broke up with your significant other, although it may hurt, you must understand why in the end it didn’t work and move on.

Plan & PRepare for all possibilities of your actions.
